Dr. Kasun Amarasinghe is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) in the Data Science for Public Policy Lab in the Machine Learning Department. Dr Kasun’s research focuses are human-ML collaborative decision making in public policy and explainable machine learning. Before joining CMU, Kasun received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Virginia Commonwealth University, and his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka
